We’re Retiring!
For 48 years for Richard and 13 years for Luanne, we have been providing pipe organ service to the greater St. Louis and Southern Illinois areas. It has been our privilege to serve you, and we thank you for your support!

Christine Guthrie, RPT
Christine Guthrie specializes in the tuning, regulation, and maintenance of pipe organs, bringing precision and patience to one of the most demanding instruments in the trade. She completed a two year apprenticeship under Murphy Music Service, where she trained extensively in pipe voicing, wind chest regulation, action adjustment, and the diagnostic work required to keep historic and modern organs performing at their best. Murphy Music Service recommends her without reservation.
Christine's completed a rigorous two-year apprenticeship with Murphy Music Service, where she trained directly under their experienced technicians, learning the craft of pipe organ tuning, regulation, and repair. She has further developed her craft through training at the American Organ Academy, deepening her technical knowledge and staying current with best practices in the field.
Her skills include the full range of organ maintenance, from routine seasonal tunings to more involved mechanical repairs, giving her the depth of experience needed to care for instruments of varying age, size, and complexity. She approaches every organ with an understanding that no two are exactly alike, and she takes the time to learn the particular character and needs of each instrument she services.
In addition to her organ work, Christine is a skilled piano technician, which gives her a strong foundation in tone, touch, and mechanical action that carries over into her approach to organ care. Churches, institutions, and organ owners can trust Christine to treat their instruments with the same care and respect she would want for her own.
